How India partied last weekend!

Be it a hot spot in Mumbai or the Friday fever in the capital, the metros have all been living it up!
How India partied last weekend!
Thought Delhi had a patent on nightlife? Hey, the metros have all been livin it up. While there was a spiffy boys night out at Myst (Mumbai), DJ Don Aqeel played Pied Piper at Tantra (Kolkata).
Delhi, on the other hand, witnessed the rebirth of Opera with German deejay Andry Nalin in the house, while diehard nightbirds sussed out cabin action at Elevate mosey in on the action!
MUMBAI: Myst, the new hot spot in Andheri, rocked to the max as the hottest boys in the nation - Muzzamil Ibrahim, Zulfi Syed, Inder Mohan Sudan, Praveen Sirohi, Shawar Ali, Bunty Garewal, Sahil Khan and Marc Robinson - rocked with hosts Gaurav Mehra, Rahul Sethia and Irfan Mirza.

With some of the hunks rocking the floor to 'Dus Bahane' and others...
... attacking the food (Prawn Amritsari, Tandoori Rawa, Greek Salad, Jalapeno Cheese Poppers, Sauted Mushrooms Balinese Satay, Fish Limon, Lasagne Florentine), we wonder what was more tempting ... the boys or the buffet? Cheers!
Andry Nalin rocks Opera
DELHI: Friday night fever was at its peak in Opera - the brainchild of Ramona and Yanchi Vadera - where German deejay Andry Nalin was jamming the airwaves for the Delhi leg of the Open Your Eyes tour organized by Max Mueller Bhavan and Studio Baker.

For the clubbing dilettante, legendary hit Open Your Eyes has the same popularity in 2005; in fact, this summer fans have been getting a surfeit of spanking new remixes.
With Studio Baker taking over the entertainment reins of Opera, the well-heeled set was present in full force. It was a mixed bag of spiffy partiers; former Miss India Mehar Bhasin was rocking with gal pal Ritika. Smokin hot in a simple ensemble, model Shreya casually returned a compliment...
... that she was looking rather stylish with, I prefer unfussy clothes; it helps you get the best out of your personality. Whoa! Gelato guy Vijay Arora, sporting a self-designed outfit, made a rather late entrance.
Also spotted rocking to Piano Track, Beach Ball, and Open your Eyes: Amol Vadhera, Suchitra Sharma, Peter Punj, and Kamal Taneja ...
Aqeel rocks Tantra
KOLKATA: Kolkata appears to be taking over the mantle of the city that never sleeps and Tantra seems to be the most wanted destination. Were not playing favourites! If a club is packed to capacity without much ado, surely it deserves the title? The reason: Don Aqeel played Pied Piper and lured the citys party pack to the club.
The droolworthy deejay took to the console at midnight and played till the wee hours. His remixed versions of Boom-Boom, Aap Jaisa Koi and Nach Baliye ensured that all feet were glued to the dance floor! We couldnt resist asking him how it felt to have the A-listers and the hoi-polloi dancing to his tunes--literally. In a club, a deejay is like the captain of a ship; he has to take charge of the crowd. The art lies in assessing the mood, blending the tracks seamlessly-and playing the right numbers, remarked Aqeel.
DELHI: So where does one go if party fever suddenly hits you at 3 a.m.? Elevate! Walking into...
... the multi-level club at 3-30 a.m., one could spot party crawlers rocking to the tune of DJ Que-tee from the UK, who has played alongside several renowned British-Asian artists.
The VIP lounge on the third level is divided into five separate glass enclosed cabins, each with a pair of heavy majestic thrones and a plush sofa made of Aztec Silver, a Swarovski crystal ceiling and a personal attendant! Trying to suss out the cabin action, I grilled the man-in-the-know.
How does one rate a private spot on the VIP Floor, like, when you're not p3p? Usually people mingle, dance and have a good time. If they want a cabin in the VIP floor, its Rs 20,000 cover charge; for plain access to the VIP floor theyve got to be a 'name,' was the response. Interesting ...
Sparkling wine, Italian cuisine
MUMBAI: All roads led to the new Italian joint at Phoenix Mills - Monza Bar, Kitchen, Lounge 'n' Wine Boutique.
Heading the date diary of every A-lister in town, this first-of-its-kind Wine...
... Boutique serves both New World and Old World Wines from France, Germany, Spain, Italy California and South Africa, teamed with authentic Italian bites like Crepes stuffed with Wasabi-flavoured Cottage Cheese, Oregano-rubbed Grilled Chicken served with fennel and herb mash, Charmoula-crusted Pomfret on a bed of vegetables stewed with coconut milk and coriander with a drizzle of lemon parsley emulsion ...
